National Grid serves over 1.2 million electricity customers in 168 communities throughout Massachusetts including Brockton, Worchester, Franklin, Marlborough, Southbridge, Newbury Port, North Adams and many surrounding counties.
In addition, National Grid as a whole operates over 9,000 miles of transmission and delivers electricity and natural gas to areas throughout the Northeast including Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont. National Grid USA is headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts but is part of a larger company, National Grid plc, which is headquartered in London, England providing electricity and gas to customers throughout England.
